The Lalbhai family are one of those iconic business families from Ahmedabad that have contributed immensely to the Indian economy. Kasturbhai Lalbhai started Arvind Mills and the past three generations have made it one of the key pillars of Indian textile industry. Punit is in his mid 20s and will be the fourth generation to join this family legacy. He has a degree from Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies and he’s always open to the idea of learning. And he has an experienced trainer – his father Sanjay Lalbhai. With such a background he should definitely become the pillars of Arvind Mills and hence contribute to the Indian textile industry.
